At The Other Side we tailor our treatment plan to fit each one of our patients. We do not believe in “one size fits all” treatment. Some of the ways we individualize treatment for our patients are:

Medical Evaluations

We start by performing a complete medical and Physiological evaluation of our patients. Knowing what is causing physical pain in a patient’s body gives us the ability to treat the pain. Without  a physiological evaluation we would be reduced to treating symptoms rather than addressing the root problem.

Physical Therapy

Our therapists are experts in the management of musculoskeletal disorders and are committed to providing superior health care from start to finish. TOS offers a wide range of services designed to get (and keep!) you healthy. We practice hands-on physical therapy based on the newest research and are committed to getting you the best results in fewer visits.

Biofeedback Therapy

Biofeedback therapy helps you practice relaxation exercises, which you fine-tune to control different body functions. For example, you might use a relaxation technique to ‘turn down’ the brainwaves that activate when you have a headache. Biofeedback can help you gain more control over these normally involuntary functions.

Comprehensive Lab analysis

Tracking the chemical makeup of the patient’s body and observing how the patient is responding to the absence of Opioids in their system. Some patients have done so much harm over the years with their opioid abuse they need additional help getting the body’s chemical levels  in balance.

Individual Counseling

Individual counseling addresses both the symptoms and root causes of substance abuse, and serves as a monitor of the recovery process itself. In this way, therapy works to address the past drug addiction, present recovery, and the your future.

Group Counseling

Through the group dynamic, core issues feeding the addictive disorders can be examined. Patients also work to develop communication skills and learn to engage in healthy discussions with other addicts. The group dynamic encourages honest feedback and creates bonds between people with shared struggles and experiences.

Family counseling

Addiction affects the entire family, and some family members may take on certain roles (enabler, scapegoat, overachiever) as a way to cope. Family Therapy can help to repair damaged relationships within the family, and teach family members healthy ways to be involved with the patient’s recovery.
